This stunning park overlooks El Moro Canyon and has trails along the ridge with views to the Pacific and Catalina Island. Trails are easy-to-difficult to navigate. Playground, bathrooms, picnic areas and open grassy area.
Cedar Grove Park is located at the bottom entrance to Peter’s Canyon. There is a big grassy area, picnic tables and bathrooms. We use this location to run because it has a flat mile-run to warm-up before the canyon and it is free to park. Cedar Grove Park is also the site of the Summer Trail Race Series on Thursday nights hosted by Renegade Racing.
SMCHS is a private high school and has strict access rules to follow. For the pool or track, please drive to the back parking lot and enter through Plano Trabuco gate. Come directly to the training area and do not wander the campus. Please park in the visitor area or any spots that are not reserved by a number.

This beach is better known as “Big Corona” is the most popular triathlete swimming beach in OC. Parking is $15 in the lot, or you can park on Ocean Blvd near Heliotrope street and walk down the steps to the beach. Meet on the grassy area next to the parking lot closest to the jetty at Lifeguard Tower #3. The jetty provides a border to the right of the beach.
