This is actually a parking lot for the Motel 6, Denny's and Carl's Jr. From the lot, proceed to the SART trail under Chapman Avenue.
Great FREE Parking at the lot just ADJACENT to the Yorba Linda Regional Park. Enter across from North Huxford Lane off of La Palma. It is near the intersection of Fairmont Blvd. There is a combination of a paved lot and a dirt lot. Baseball fields, bathrooms and access to the Santa Ana River Trail.

The location is adjacent to the San Juan Creek Trail (sometimes listed on Google as the Trabuco Creek Trail). It is an off-road, paved trail connecting SJC and Doheny Beach in Dana Point (3.5 miles). From here, you can ride into San Clemente to the train station, but you will be on surface streets that are quite busy. This is a great running trail for flat runs that have nice breezes and brings you to the ocean.
Newport Dunes is a recreational area in the Back Bay of Newport Beach. The swimming area is a bay and there is direct access to the Upper Newport Bay cycling and running route - a paved road with low-car traffic. You can park on the street for free in designated areas. No need to pay to enter the Newport Dunes Complex.
Crystal Cove State Beach has several entrances. Please look carefully for the REEF POINT entrance on the ocean side of PCH. It is across from the Crystal Cove Promenade shopping center.

The Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center is adjacent to the Oso Trail. This stunning (and largely shaded...) trail is composed of pavement, dirt and mulch and winds through gardens along the creek. There is a central 1.3 mile loop and feeder trails for a longer run. Please use the bathrooms at the Community Center prior to running at the trail. Note: The Community and Senior Center shares an entrance with the middle school. Come past the school to the end of Veteran's Way and park to the left if there is room.

TriLaVie Trainings utilize the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach along the stunning Back Bay Drive for our swim, bike and run training. There are usually specific instructions regarding parking. Free parking is available along Back Bay Drive and adjacent to Newport Dunes Resort, but TriLaVie members often get discount parking options at the hotel. Please review the training instructions for the day.
